All About Fr. Pecchie in his own words....
I was born on May 1, 1968 in Flushing, New York to Italian Irish parents with 3 older sisters
and a younger brother. I was educated by the Sisters
of St. Joseph of Brentwood Long Island, the Franciscan
Brothers of Brooklyn for high school education
and the Vincentians for college. I entered the college
Seminary in 1988.
In 1990 I moved to Florida with my
parents and transferred to the Seminary studying for
the Diocese of St. Petersburg. I was ordained a priest
May 20, 1995 and was assigned to Holy Family in St.
Petersburg. While there I was a Master of Ceremony years taught freshmen
and juniors at St. Petersburg Catholic High School.
For the last five years I was the associate at
St. Stephen in Valrico in Southeast Hillsborough
County. While there I was the parish Director of Liturgy
and School Chaplain. During my time at St.
Stephen I also taught 5th and 6th grade math honors
and religion for 3rd through 6th grades.
I am looking
forward to being back in Pinellas and serving St. Patrick
Catholic Church and School. |
