Cupcakes

1 - 1/3 cup of all purpose flour
2/3 cup of sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 cup of milk
1/4 cup of butter softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Set oven temperature to 350 degrees

Combine everything into the mixer and mix until it is well blended.  Then place your baking cups in your muffin pan.
 Fill up your baking cups a little over half way full and bake.  Put into your oven  and check in 20 minutes. 
To make sure they are done, put a toothpick in the middle of one of the cupcakes. 
If the toothpick comes out clean, you know it is done.

If you want to frost your cupcakes, you must wait until they are very cool or else the frosting will run.

Frosting

1/3 cup of butter softened
4-1/2 cups of confectioners sugar or powdered sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1-1/2 vanilla

For chocolate frosting, add about 1/3 cup of cocoa.

Mix this until it is well blended. If you want to make different colors, you can put food coloring in and then remix.  After everything is frosted, use your imagination and put sprinkles, or jelly beans or whatever else you can think of.  ENJOY!!!
